"I worked at the ordinance plant, and when There was a kid that went to school in Lincoln, and he would get us some tickets to the football game. So then, we'd drive down from the ordinance plant and pick up He'd leave them [the tickets] at the gate, and we'd pick them up and pay for them. And then we'd go to the ball game. Well, that was back when at half time you could sit on the 50-yard line right down in the front seat and had plenty of room and had all your friends sitting with you because people left the ball game. They had such a lousy, oh a terrible team."
