"We got REA electric went past our house, so we got electricity which was very rare for anybody in the community. And we got a refrigerator sooner than most people did, which was really very special."
    Question: "How did that change your life?"
   "Well, we didn't have to run down to the cave all the time to put our butter down there. And that cave we didn't like anyhow because there was salamanders down there. [I was] scared of them. So, a lot of people went and put their milk and things in the well, down the well. But we took ours down into the cave if we needed to. But the refrigerator changed that."
