"That was, it was illegal, but there were some guys that were brave enough, they could tell whether it was a turtle, or catfish, or whether it was a carp. And they could just go down to the bottom there, and feel a little bit and where their gills were. And then they'd clamp down and hope he wasn't too big that we could throw him on the beach, or the bank. I'd usually get to carry the sack. [Laughs]"
