"Oh my, I should say, we had dust bowls. The dirt come clear from Oklahoma and Kansas, and our house would be red with dirt. Oh yeah, I remember that, and then, at night, it'd be so warm in the house. You know, we, I don't know, we'd have to take wet towels and kind of lay [them] over. It was so hot. But, it was rough."
