Eighth Grade Standards
8.1.1 Students analyze and predict the interaction. Students will interpret cause and effect.
8.1.2 Students will collect, manipulate and analyze data from an experiment. Students will interpret and explain results of the experiment.
8.2.1 Student will develop the ability to do scientific inquiry.
8.3.1 Student will investigate properties and changes of properties in matter.
8.4.1 Students will develop an understanding of structure and function
in living systems (Yeast) and the characteristics of a living
organism in various environmental conditions.
8.8.1 Student will understand science is a human endeavor.
8.8.2 Students will be able to use the scientific process.
