Living History Days

History comes alive with exhibits and demonstrations, live animals, wagon rides, music and vendors. Our Nebraska 150 event! Farm life from 1867-today represented through demonstrations and more! Proud to be an official NE 150 Event Partner!  Humanities Nebraska is providing funding for this program.  On Saturday, see Dan Holtz present “Nebraska through song and story”, with harmonica and guitar, Saturday at noon!  The 1st Nebraska Volunteers Brass Band performs Saturday at 2pm!  Live accordion music will be performed before each of these presentations!  On Sunday, Dorothy Reike presents “Nebraska farm families during the Great Depression” at 1pm, and Darrel Draper presents “The history of Nebraska as told by Peter Sarpy” at 2:30pm!
